This symposium presented at the 36th Congress of the World Hemophilia Federation invited a multidisciplinary faculty of patients, a nurse and a haematologist to discuss the gene therapy journey for haemophilia patients. Focussing on the decision-making process, the experience of receiving gene therapy and the concept of the liberated mind, the faculty reflect on their experiences and what the arrival of gene therapy means for the haemophilia community.
