WFH shared decision making tool

The treatment landscape for haemophilia has evolved significantly over the last few decades and now includes a variety of treatment options, including factor replacement, non-factor replacement and gene therapy. As such, the decision-making process has become more complex to navigate but should remain a key stage in treatment selection, to ensure patients are well-educated on the treatments available and the potential outcomes.

The WFH Shared Decision Making (SDM) Tool is an online decision-support system, designed to support discussions regarding treatment options between people with haemophilia (PWH) A or B and/or caregivers and their healthcare team, leading to informed decision-making.

This interactive tool provides evidence-based, balanced information about available treatment options and allows PWH to follow a framework to reflect on their current treatment and goals, and to guide conversations with caregivers and healthcare professionals ahead of making decisions about their future treatment.

You can find the WFH SDM Tool and additional informative resources on the WFH website here.
